The Gift – Christmas Buckets

Siyanceda Africa Relief has partnered with The River Church East London. For only R100 we are giving the Church partners the opportunity to purchase a bucket and taking it home to give it to someone less fortunate, or they can contribute R100 and the bucket will be distributed to a needy family for Christmas by Siyanceda.

A bucket is filled with the following items:

- 1 kg Maize Meal

- 500g Rice

- 410g Baked Beans

- 26 Tea Bags

- 500g Salt

- Brown Onion Soup

- BBQ/ Chicken/ Curry Spice

- 2 Stock Cubes

- 100g Soya Mince

- 80g Jelly

- 2 Cream Biscuit Packs

- 200g Marie Biscuits

- Wilson XXX Mint/ Musk

- 75g Sweets

- 2 Sachets Cooldrink Mix

- 5 Suckers

- 10 lt Bucket and lid

- Vision Magazine

- 225g Mixed fruit jam

- A TBN gift

- 4 Christmas crackers

Second-hand Clothing Project

There is always such a big need for clothes among the needy. And we always have clothes in our cupboards that’s either to big, to small or just doesn’t fit right. We constantly get people coming to us in need of clothes and we decided this will be a great River Ministries project.

We received boxes and boxes full of clothes from the partners and decided to call upon pastors in our surrounding areas to help us hand them out. Within a few days the storehouse was empty! We are grateful for the support from the partners for yet again a great project. Many lives have been touched.

Baby Project

We started with small projects in the River Ministries, East London, asking all the River Partners to help Siyanceda by making donations so that we can reach people in our communities that are suffering. Our heart is that these projects will be adopted by other churches so that all of us can make an even bigger impact, not just by assisting people but also by bridging gaps within the body of Christ.

We kicked off with a baby project, which we ultimately planned to run for one month, but due to the great response from the partners, we extended it for another two weeks. The partners brought in donations that varied from furniture, clothing, toys, and care products to formula and food.

All the items donated by River Ministries partners and three bales of nappies donated by a generous donor were dropped off at the East London Child and Youth Care Centre. The centre looks after five children homes which have over 120 children in total. All these items were much appreciated by the staff of the centre and we believe that it will make a huge impact in the lives of these children.
